When the weather turns wet after a quick and not too hot summer that the British are well aware that now is the time to enjoy London. Winter is too cold and miserable and the summer is generally blighted by hordes of tourists. But spring and fall are the highlights of the year the best cultural events and reasonable weather to enjoy them. This fall there's lots to do with the theater a special appeal.

What plays or music should I see?

Right now there is a particularly good series of productions on stage in London. If you are interested in musicals or serious theater that more than 75 plays in production. However, as I know that many visitors to London are after a lively show three musicals that have shaped then and a serious piece of theater that promises to be one of the most talked about productions of the decade.

Billy Elliot is the story of a childhood in the mining town of the hardest years of the Thatcherite reforms. Mining strikes that makes life difficult for Billy, but that's only the beginning of their woes. Because Billy is different. She loves dancing and simply not expected of children in Northern cities. This show is a winner, combining a win-against-the-odds story with great Sir Elton John's music and a cast of excellent dancers and artists. This program has won numerous awards and is the favorite memory of many visitors take away from London.

The trend of Hollywood or TV stars treading the boards of the West End is properly with the premiere of the film-to-stage show Rain Man which opens at the Apollo Theater London on 19 September. Rain Man has been adapted for the stage by Dan Gordon and tells the same story as the film starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman for which Hoffman won an Oscar. The story revolves around the discovery of car salesman Charlie that he has an older brother, Raymond, who had been institutionalized since he was a child. Ray is wise all autistic social difficulties, the condition involves. However, it has a genius for numbers which is useful when Charlie's business is at risk. The play stars Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett (Black Hawk Down, The Black Dahlia) and well-known thespian Adam Godley London.

The Donmar in London is known for his dramas face. It is an intimate theater in a horseshoe stage with only three rows so that you can feel the effort of actor and sweat at all. The theater attracts big stars returning to the stage of intellectual refreshment. At the heart of most veteran Hollywood production of Shakespeare, Kenneth Branagh has cast Jude Law as Hamlet beat. Law Will success in an area so small? Many stars have returned to the stage in London, sold out, runs, but critical panning. I think the law is above the rest and enhance its reputation in this performance, which is sure to be one of the most talked about shows of the year.

Before the movie was a concert in London. Mamma Mia! may be a feeling of screen, but the Londoners have been dancing in the aisles of the music of ABBA from years ago and still come to this stage sensational show in droves. This production is unique because it is so attractive. You will be elaborated in the program and end in the feet belting out familiar themes. Better than a victory in the race for the lifting of the spirit.

After the show Why not head to Edgware Road. At the end of the Marble Arch is a row of about 30 Lebanese restaurants each more authentic than the last. The strip style Arab stays open extra late, so I will never go hungry, no matter how late you leave. This is London with a touch.

Transportation to the West End is easy with the metro stations of Covent Garden, Leicester Square and near Holborn, and by the armies of buses and taxis to take you back to your hotel or rental. For those interested in getting an agreement, many theaters offer cheaper tickets same day. Details are in the theater website.

The primary appeal of dance movies is the dancing, with some added emphasis on the romance the art expresses. Center Stage wins on these counts, despite its reveling in overly familiar characters and formula plotting. Or maybe this reveling is responsible for what goofy fun this film is. The arduous task of becoming a professional ballet dancer is incarnated by many good-looking teens, all stock d...
