Desperately Needs Help! My PC keeps on freezing… what should I do?

System:
Windows XP Home Edition version 2002 Service Pack 3
Computer:
Inter (R)
Celeron (R) CPU 2.80GHz
2.79 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM
My PC keeps on freezing for 2 days now and it usually happens while viewing videos in YouTube, playing WOW and/or watching movies from VCD/DVD. I thought its the video card so I set the Performance Settings to “Adjust for Best Performance”, removed the desktop background and screensavers; and Appearance is set to Window Classic style but still, the same thing goes on. I can only watch a movie for about 10 minutes then it freezes up. I tried using Safe Mode and it seemed fine. No freezes. What would I do now? I need my PC but I can’t afford a technician yet.
Often, freezing is caused by a resource conflict. It’s the first thing to check.
Go to start menu –settings –control panel –System control panel –Hardware tab –Device Manager. Look for any device that has a yellow exclamation point (!), or question mark, etc. –anything weird.
If you find anything like that, it usually means the driver isn’t installed properly. For example, somebody might have reinstalled or restored Windows, without reinstalling the drivers for all the hardware properly.
You need to fix any conflicts you find.
Others thing that can explain random freezes under load would be a failing power supply, or overheating.
