Itegral 4GB memory stick problems?

I put my memory in a case of kiss at work and nothing happened (not see any files there). Thinking it was strange I put on a table top to check. The team now says I have two units (e + f), however, I can not access them and when I click it asks me to insert a disc. When I click on properties is also said that both are full.Also when I try to format them the same message. The mast was never password protected and I deleted the password file in existence. What do you think is goung here then? His advice is always valued and appreciated. Thanks
