computer desk red oak

Can anyone give me some decorating tips?
My wife is in bed and turned the living room into a room for her. The walls are blue. Her quilt is deep red light. She has a chess box, television, computer desk, small roll and away from bed in this room 17 x 11. All furniture is made of light oak. What she does not have are ceramic angels. What color curtains can use? The floors are hardwood. Any decoration suggestion?
That is so great of you to do all this for his wife.
For the curtains, I would try to find a pattern that has both blue and red so you can mix the two together. If you can not find the color curtains you can find some fabric that fits and make curtains. If you do not know anyone who sews just lay the fabric over the curtain rod and ties used to tie the curtains when he wants to let in the light If the fabric is thin, you can double up or put a cheaper material (like light blue or white) under a jacket.
